Manufacturer qualification
Before we quote, the manufacturer has to qualify. We do not work with a factory we have not verified.
- Business registration and export license verified
- Installed capacity and export volumes confirmed
- Product certificates and recent laboratory results checked against your specification
- Export references contacted
- Ownership and sanctions screening of the company and its owners
- A second manufacturer qualified as backup
Contract
Your requirements become contract terms. What is not written is not promised.
- Your specification annexed, with limits and test methods
- Delivery point and transfer of risk under Incoterms 2020
- Inspection rights and binding certificates
- Quantity tolerance, packaging and marking
- Claims procedure and response times
- Governing law and international arbitration
Verification
An independent, accredited inspection firm checks the goods before they leave origin.
- Inspector appointed by us, not by the manufacturer
- Sampling and testing against the contract specification
- Quantity and weight survey
- Packaging and loading supervision
- Certificates of quality and quantity issued before payment
Payment and delivery
Payment follows the documents, never the other way around.
- Letter of credit under UCP 600 or other bank-secured terms
- Payment only against conforming shipping documents
- Copies of documents sent in advance for your customs clearance
- Shipment tracked until discharge
- Claims handled by us, in your language
